W dniu  11 października 2019 o godz. 11:00 w sali A1-33  Wydziału Matematyki i Informatyki UAM w Poznaniu wykład wygłosi prof. Preda Mihailescu (Universitat Gottingen, Niemcy).

Tytuł wykładu:  Progress in Leopoldt's Conjecture.

Abstract: In this lecture we give an introduction on the subject of the Leopoldt conjecture, its history and importance, and mention some recent progress: the proof of the CM case of the conjecture, the case of fields with only one prime above p and relative p-cyclic extensions. The main ideas of the proofs will be explained and the details of some consequential lemmata. During the three days stay in Poznań, the speaker will gladly discuss with interested colleagues, in the case they wish to see more details.
